Rock Store Ride video

Last Sunday My bro and i rode to Rock Store. This ride was slow mo for the most part do to the amount of cops crawling all over the mountains of Malibu. Once reaching the top of the Snake we stop and observed two cop that had pulled over 3 bikers. One cop was just a ass. You could hear him yelling and stated he owes the road not us..Also watch him stomp around and slamming his cop car door.. I had heard from the photographers that this cop was harassing Bikers all day and writing tickets.Funny i did not see one CHP this weekend up on the hill they where all LASO. Im out of Malibu for a while now to stay away from the problem there. Any ways thought i would share what i had observered in the Malibu hills this weekend. Watch out they need your money.. Thanks for the info. I had planned riding up there with Long this last weekend but things didn't work out. Good thing I didn't. I pushed the trip to this wknd but weather is not cooperating. Maybe nxt wknd. However, if its just a police infested area, might not to it at all.

Do it if you have not. Just pay attention to the road rules around the Rock Store Mulholland area.

 

Your post is exactly the reason I'm willing to slab 2 hours just to get out of LA. ...and I live 15 minutes from the Rock Store! The weekends are just stupid up here and only going to get worse as the weather gets nice.

Nice video though, glad you guys had fun and avoided face to face dealings with the local constabulary!!!

 

I'll be up Topanga with JTC the Thurs before R3. Crust might make it up for lunch.

I usually get up there in the wee morning hours (5:30am-7:30am) and finish with the hill just in time (<10am) to see all the cops coming up PCH to post on Topanga, Temscal, Mulholland, Kanan, Latigo and Las Virgnes. I've found that if I just say off the hill between 10am-6:00pm and/or stay off the previously mentioned roads that I will rarely ever see a cop. Let alone get hastled by one. Besides, its just way safer to be up there during non-peak hours.
Less cops, less traffic = winning
