Hey Everyone. I am new to both riding and the VFR. I just got my motorcycle lisence last summer. I used my fathers 96 VFR about 4 times last summer and this season I bought his Bike off him, just got it up and running.

    Welcome!

Take some classes, learn your skills, condition your reflexes, and practice. Stay safe out there!

Congrats and welcome. Like the other guys said, classes would be great.

Good luck for many years to come with your new bike. And remember, when/if you start riding with others, ride your own ride.

What's your dad going to ride now? I'm thinking that this might be a good excuse for him to get a new one. Welcome to the forum.

I took a motorcycle training class last summer to get my license, very informative and helpful.

Stewart its funny you say that because he is looking to get a newer one. He is on the hunt for a 07 VFR RED.

So if you know any for sale....

Yeah, I thought so. I'm already plotting to do that with my 13 year old when he's old enough. I'll give him my '07 and I'll hopefully get that 1000cc 8th Gen VFR ...........

Seriously though, it was cool of your dad to do that. You're getting a good bike that you know everything about. It's a win for the both of you. You've got to post some pictures.
