2011 VFRW Southeast G2G

I'm working at Watts Bar in Tenn this month and I think I can make it for a couple of days.

 

Nice man what days do you think you can make it down here?

 

bummer tony. just get a ricks wire harness and a new rectifier. that ought to cure your bike's woes. are you sure your stator is shot? have you disconnect the stator wires to check the AC current? c'mon man :kc10: , get going. the vfr gang needs you there. whos' gonna pick up the crap falling off matt's bike?

 

oh yeah tony. have you checked the air in yer tires? btw, how many miles on yer michelins?

 

I may be able to come in on Tuesday afternoon and leave sometime Thursday.

 

Dont worry sparky, we will pour some out for you. And Tony if need be. That is of course considering we have any booze left to pour out!

My healing is moving along pretty fast. If it wasnt for the fact that my engine case is broken i would possibly be able to ride by next week

 

i hate im going to miss out on this the lack of money for a new tire and i cant seem to stay off the bike long enough to test the stator and sparky the rear tire has 20,000 on it now this is the rear tire i put on before the g2g last year by the time anthoer one rolls around ill have 100,000 on dragonness im at 85,400 100 miles to go for anthoer oil change

 

I'll probably bring some Scotch but I'm a big fan of Makers Mark or Crown Royal.

The weather forecast does not look great at the moment, IF the weather does not cooperate on Weds/Thurs I'm considering the weekend as an alternative. Who else could stay the weekend at The KL?

 

Unfortunately my son's birthday is on that Saturday so if it rains during the week I will probably need to cancel and reschedule.

Well... I am bummed. I was going to leave today to head to NC for the G2G. I hope you guys have a great time drinking beer and telling lies. Anyways, have a fun, safe time riding those nice curvy roads that I miss so much.

meh a forecast is exactly that. a forecast! I'm still planning on the week. I'm 90% sure Comicus is as well. CROWN ROYAL IT IS!

 

I'll be in my SUV so we can pile in at the end of the day and drive to the liquor store to get some booze for ourselves and Mama Mo. I'm also bringing a couple of laterns to use for our tent silhouettes.

Next weeks weather outlook is looking much better! Tony If I had a good 180 rear tire I'd send it to ya. All I have right now is a Roadsmart 190.

I hate to say it but it looks like I am going to have to cancel. My 6 year old son Danny was hospitalized on Thursday morning with a very bad stomach virus and was just discharged yesterday afternoon. We were convinced that he was all better after his extended hospital stay but he started vomitting again early this morning. His 2 year old brother also has the same bug but wasn't hit nearly as hard. I am just praying we don't have to go back to the hospital. It also looks like heavy rain is headed that way and won't clear up until Thurs/Friday. Maybe I can sneak one day in late in the week but I'll just have to play it by ear.
