New member need help with carb problem

    I left ma tank for the winter one quater full. Last week when i tied to start my 96 it stated with full choke but didn't seem to build in rpm and to worst thing with that was when i tried to give some gas it was always dying??? I got it to rev normally when for 500ft then died and i have to start it full choke or it doesn't start.
    can someone help me?

    Well, sounds like you have some clogged jets. Leaving the fuel in her up in Canada where it gets pretty cold will gunk things up for sure. The first thing I would do is drain the tank and clean out the carbs. I'd go ahead and check the floats while I was in them, I'm sure the guys on here will give some better advice but thta's a starting piont.

    yup sounds like your idle jets are plugged...good spring cleaning is in order drain the tank...start with fresh gas and change the fuel filter and clean the carbs...

    Thank you! i brought it to the shop to get the carbs cleaned up. That should do it.
