I would consider that but, I am going to put an R6 or aprilia rs 250 tail section on mine.

Well, the work on the exhaust looks good, though the shortness of the exhaust just makes it look as if it's missing something. Might look better if the pipe feeding the silencer was a bit longer IMO. How's it sound compared to the sound when it had the full length silencer?

True, it does look like it is missing something but i think its because of the tail fairing being so big. I am not done with the exhaust, though currently it is set as you see it, once I swap out tail sections I am going to almost completely cut out the mid-pipe of the exhaust so it is more gp style. As for sound, when it was at full length (18") it had a quiet, deep sound to it. Now the exhaust isn't so quiet, much deeper and louder. Exactly what I was looking for.

Just out of curiosity....why cut down a great exhaust? I have the remus Grand Prix carbon & think it sounds great. Don't get me wrong, to each there own just think it looks a bit short as a high mount.

It is short as a high mount. My overall intention is to cut the mid-pipe to make it more GP style exhaust. I am doing this whole process in stages. 1. Cut down the exhaust, 2. Swap out tail sections, 3. Cut down the mid-pipe, 4. Create a custome mount for the new exhaust coming off the new tail section.

I ride the bike everyday so I need to do this in sections so the job gets done and I can still use it.
