I've got a '94 and I'd like to know what the stock height of the forks in the triple tree should be. Klymers says that the top of the forks (excluding the adjusters) is 39 mm above the triple tree clamp... is that possible?

    Thanks for any help, folks...

Sounds about right, I could dig it up in thy shop manual, but for me I take the measurement with the clip-ons on, I know it's like 3mm below the cir-clip that keeps the clip-ons on at the top of each fork tube. hope that helps

OK - I looked and the manual and RVFR agree and my bike has the stock setup. Again, thanks for the info...
