My 99 wont start. Last week my battery went dead so I replaced it with no luck .A few days ago I replaced the rr and it ran fine and today I went to get on and ride and it won't start. It fires up and sound like it's about to go but nothing. And it sounds strong, WTF?

Check that your charging voltage is proppa, about 13.5- 14.5 volts.

I'd check all the connectors you can get to in the wiring harness. Pull them apart, clean them, apply dielectric grease and give it another try. Not sure if this is the answer, but corrosion on those connectors can generate enough resistance to a failure and possible fires. Can't hurt.

surprise it was another problem. Fuel filter and now she runs like a champ and some sweet new NGK spark plugs make it perfect.
