Anybody have any info on a cross-over equivalent paint match for my '95 VFR. It is RED (Honda paint code - R158E) and two local bodyshops cannot match the paint. I am out of bodyshops so I am trying to assist them in finding out a matching color code from the paint suppliers ( ICI, Dupont, etc.). Any help? Please? Bruce shirtfx@telusplanet.net
I just had to repaint the seat cowl on my 99 red VFR. PPG can match your color in their Deltron Basecoat line. If you go to your local paint jobber he can look it up in their color library and cross it over. If that doesn't they can scan the paint on your bike and come up with a paint formula that way. I have the PPG paint code but it is at work. The paint that I have matched perfectly.
