    Hey fellow Honda V-4 folks,

I'm knew to this forum; but not to Honda V-4's. I've been an active rider for more than 40 years, and have owned more than a dozen bikes including one each V65 Magna, V65 Sabre, and V45/RC15 Interceptor. I've also been an active member of the SabMag List (although the last several years have been on SoCalMaggot), and hosted more than a dozen riding events up here in Gold Country beginning in 1998.

I've joined VFRWorld as I just purchased an '86 VF1000R (eBay), and I'm eager to gain from the experiences of people here, and to share what I can in return. As soon as the bike arrives (in about a week) I'll post a few pics.

    Ryde on!

Thanks derstuka! I'll keep my eyes & ears open. My riding calendar is getting filled up quickly; but perhaps a stop in Atascadero is doable.

    Ryde on!

Welcome to the forum, may have to ride up and drool over your bike when you get it.

I am on the other side of the hills from on the NV side of 88 in Carson Valley. Hopefully we can connect this spring or summer.

    Thanks all

Seems there are a number of us around this area - a hookup is definitely in the cards once the snow subsides. We certainly do have the roads in this area!

    Welcome aboard
I was up in Susanville until last November. Now I am a little further east and south.
If you make it to Atascadero I'll see you there.

A little east and south of Susanville is headed in my direction - unless you mean a LOT east and south...

R3 isn't looking promising at the moment, as I'll be out and about for the week prior (on the VFKR) and down in the Carrizo Plain area (on the Scrambler) the week after. Kinda have to spend some time around the homestead to take care of the HD list(s).

I see that (now that I took the time to glance over there!). Cottonwood is a cool area, and I must say 89A is a most excellent road. Done a bit of riding down that way, got some friends down in Chandler.

    and Here She IS!

She fired right up, and ran like I expected her to (she hasn't been ridden much in a year). As soon as the tags are current I'll give her a dose of carb cleaner and go for a ride!
