If you own a bike, any bike you are going to need some parts someday. Going used especially for an 80s bike is often the only way to go.

HOWEVER there is an azzhole on ebay( who shall remain nameless) that kills good VFR's because they are worth more in parts. To the guy who sniped me sniping someone else on that left handle bar assembly, kudos on a job well done.

HOWEVER I think dismanteling good bikes is akin to murder.

Forgive me if I have posted something similiar to this before.

    End of rant.

I'm missing something here.....just to clarify, you needed parts you can't buy, some guy on ebay was selling these parts, the parts were coming off a good bike, you lost the auction for the parts you wanted, now you are pissed at the guy that was selling the parts?

Sounds logical if you don't think about it.

Sure I like nice parts as much as the next guy.

But I like to think the donor was dead before he was split apart. This guy kills decent VFRs for money. If it was a CBR600 I'd say go for it, but to me a Viffer is a special thing.

How did you determine the condition of the donor bike?

I have emailed him in the past. Not the first time he has done this too.

I love VFR's too but your theory is screwed up. If it's ok to chop up a cbr but not a vfr that's like tellin me it's not ok to beat an Indian woman, but anything else is fair game, punch away.

DISCLAIMER: If you beat any woman, you should probably be beaten yourself, and then killed.
