    Hello.

I was doing some research to get the best price possible on my RWB. I can buy it new for $7,799 and wondered if I am paying too much. I searched the posts here and found this: "According to Cycle World Jan. 2010 issue, Honda just lowered the sell price on all 2007 VFR's to $6999".

Does anyone have any references to this article? I'd use it as ammo w my dealer in getting a better price.

How does this work? Does Honda consign these bikes to the dealer?

Factory to dealer incentives brought the price way down, then some dealerships sweetened the pot by going to $6,999. I havn't seen any around for some time now so most have probably been sold. Although I am seeing some '08 models in the $8K range. Besides, $7700 isn't exactly what I would call "over paying". Most of us paid several thousand more, so five hundred bucks either way is just splitting hairs at this point.
