Recommendations. Front stand (stem) for 85 VF1000R

Looking for a decent front stand for my 85 VF1000R. Want to keep the tires off the deck while I'm deployed. I don't want a fork stand since I'll be needing the stand to remove the forks eventually when I get them fitted with new springs. So it seems a stem stand would be what I need. Anyone have experiance with Black widow. I used to have a pit-bull (loved it) but it is pricey. I'm not sure if there is anything keeping a regular stem stand from working with the VF1000R since I'm not home to check it out. Also, pin size? Thanks.

 

I don't know the specs for the kR stem but I can recommend Pit Bull.

Yeah, I had a Pit bull for my Speed Triple but like a dumby I sold it with the bike. Now I'm standless. My biggest concern is bieng able to use it with the fairing on the bike.

 

I use an LP front stand but the insert is not the correct size. For what it's worth, the pin size is the same for the 1000R as the 500.

 

It works with my 5G fairing.............
