Carb BOOTS still sucking air after tightening. easy fix?

    The 4 rubber boots that connect my carb to my motor im pretty sure are leakiing altho they look good. i tightened em down as tight as they will go. anyone know a way to seal em without removing the carb?

    Not aware of an on the bike fix, but for the price just get new boots.

    Often there are "limiters"--small collars that fit around the screw between clamp sides--and they can be removed for another turn or two...........but i don't think that's your problem.

    I'm guessing that maybe carbs are not fully seated into boots.

    U guys know some good websites to order parts from? Ebay dont have what i need. I tried prying the boots in as i could. They are still not sealing.

    motogrid(dot)com great schematics . can at least get the correct part # prices are good but watch the s & h. click on oem then motorcycle then honda then the model pulldown menu should appear. Its an eye opener as to how many models there are.
