wow... so so so much information and so may things to look at i dont know where to start... but anyway hello my name is John and i JUST bought a 1987 VFR700 and im soooooo pumped to do some joy riding. now i did have a couple questions that im sure are somwhere in this mountian of info but i havent even come close to scratching the surface of all of it so im wondering are there any groups that ride in minnesota? is there a MN VFR rally??? i had a ninja 900 but traded it after 2 years of riding... im looking for a community of riders with the same intrest in the history as well as the awesome feel of this bike... also it has some body cracks and spots that need fixing... any imput on if i sould get brand new or try to fix and repaint the old... im not looking to FULLY restore but i would like to ride and know its just as sexy lookin as any vfr out there :) :)

depending on how badly damaged the current ones are...if it is a few minor cracks....melt them back together give her a sanding and repaint them there are a few places to get aftermarket but be ready to pay for them...
    good luck
