I need some urgent help - my bike wont start :'(! Here's the situation:

'99 VFR, bone stock, 22000 miles. No prior starting problems at all. Put new tires on my bike yesterday. When I re-installed the muffler last night, I started the cold engine to check for exhaust leaks. Started and ran fine. I only ran it for about 20 seconds. Today, I go to try out my new tires and.....the darn bike wont start. I cranked it so much my already weak battery died. Recharged the battery and reinstalled. Now the bike cranks real strong, but absolutely wont fire. Not even a pop or crack. I can smell gas, so I know I'm flooding it, but I should still get some hint of detonation. I've tried every combination of choke settings as well as opening the throttle up 100% like the owner's man. says. No luck. Checked all my fuses and they're OK. Everything else appears to be working fine, the crazy thing just wont start. Can anyone offer any advice?

    Thanks,

    Chris

    OK,
This may be obvious, but did you check the engine on/off switch?

Well, I got it sorted out. I must've fouled the plugs when I only let it run for a short time. I replaced all 4 plugs and she started right up.

By the way, my new Bridgestone BT-020's are excellent in every way! ;D
