Is AR-600 and Cordura the same material?

    It's new gear time! I'm looking at the Olympia AST and Speed n' Strength's Hell and Back ST jacket... safety is my primary concern and I know that the AST uses Cordura. The Hell and Back uses Ar-600 but I'm not familiar with that material. Are they the same thing (both made by Dupont)?

    Here's a reply to a customer's inquiry about just what you are talking about.
    I think Cordura is a Nylon based product rather than Polyester.
