I was wondering if anyone from this fine website knows if there is a reasonable replacement over the factory exhaust gaskets. I need to get all 8 for my 84 but dont really WANT to spend $70+ if I dont need to. Does anyone know if exhaust goo or any sort of liquid gasket worth using as a replacement?

Will have my bike pics up when I get her all back together and cleaned up

There is no good answer to this. There is truely nothing like the factory part. Over the years I have tried it all but it is best to just be done with it and bite the bullet. I have found one other option but would be too ashamed to spill it here and it was free to me at the time, if you had to purchase it the cost would not be worth it. It did rhyme with Volkswagen. (Head hung in shame)

It is a waste of time and god knows the V-four is not the most pleasant exhaust to do battle with. New curse words have been invented while tinkering with VFR pipes.
