I started riding 2 years ago and have been riding my 2007 interceptor (RWB) now for more than a year.

At this moment I'm attending Bike Week in Daytona which exciting has put me in a dilemma... I see how everyone else has personalized their bikes and am amazed and jealous! I want to make modifications to my bike but there isn't much of an aftermarket for the VFR so I was thinking of getting a custom paint job. I know that plenty of you think that it would be a sin to get rid of the RWB paint but I must do something to make her mine...what do you think?

C'mon Sid! You're not going to get a very warm welcome when you talk about changing the RWB paint scheme! Kidding, of course. Its your bike to do what you want.

What are you talking about tho with aftermarket stuff? There's tons of things you can do. I'd suggest getting your wheels done in white. As my kids say - "dat shit be bangin". Or something like that.

You want to add some "color" to it? Try changing the seat and add color to the piping. Grips. Rotors. Break lines. Wind Screen. Fender eliminator. Pazzo levers.

There's tons of things you can do cosmetically without having to necessarily change the whole paint.

What kind of cans you got on there - still stock? Swapping them out would give a whole new look from the rear of the bike.

If you don't ride 2 up, try taking off the pillion pegs. Changes the profile significantly.

I have no imagination for this stuff, but go look around at some of the members photo galleries and I'm sure you can spawn your own ideas. And post up some pictures!

I dunno, I'm just so amazed at everything I saw there! I took your advice and took a more determined look into the after market stuff. I'm gonna sit back and plot what is possible with what I find.

I get excited every time I think about the time I had! I sure wish I'd starting riding when I was younger.

Any of you near Jacksonville, FL? I'll be moving there this summer.

there's plenty of aftermarket stuff for the VFR. Just browse around ebay or google search for thurm or thurn motorsports out of germany I think. You can blow as much money as you like...

Ok, time away from Bike Week has allowed me to come back to my senses. I not gonna paint her but I am going to do some of the after market stuff.

    Thanks for the link above!
