Hi to all the Viffer tinkerers

Been looking at a -1 front sprocket change, new chain on the bike. Found some concern over fitment and possible spline damage from others using non oem sprockets on the counter shaft. I currently am being beat by a 1999 tl1000r from 20-200km by a mere 6 feet and would like to give him a reason to pout, of course without tellin him about the sprocket. Oem is 65$ and a 2 hour drive to my local honda dealer, I seem to have mostly all good things about jt sprockets which I can get to my door for under 35$. Just wondering if anyone ever had a problem with a jt sprocket or has had one for some time with no concern. Thanks to all for reading.

Not a direct answer to your question but I can recommend Sprocket Specialists. They offer a top notch Made in USA product with excellent customer support.

I've used JT's on many bikes with zero problems.

Dunno if this will be of any help but I'm currently using a JT rear sprocket on my '03,I've had no problems at all with it.

Just a heads up Firedawg,Drive Systems USA has their own brand 530 pitch lightened front sprockets in 14 to 18 teeth. They also list AFAM 530 pitch front sprockets in 14 to 18 teeth for your bike too.
