Choke cable for my 1986 VFR

    My choke cable broke on my 1986 VFR750F. I cannot find a new one any one have any suggestions.

    HELL, man, you can easily rig up a pull cable connecting to the lever and using a string or wire to pull from the left side of the engine, by hand, the same way i get sex.

    AS a matter of FACT, if you get your hand in there properly, without fairings, from the left side and feel around, you can easily reach the lever that activates the choke without any need for a cable.

    mine broke a few months ago....I still use it...I just pull the broken end( it broke up top at the little ball that goes inside to the lever... I figure one of these days I'll go to the junk yard and find one that fits...

    You can make up your own using bicycle cables. You can get everything you need from a good bike shop. If it is just the cable and not the outer sheath it is very easy to do. I have done this several times with other bikes.
