83 VF750F, sorry for the typo on the title. (how can i fix it?)

I've been scouring the internet looking for ways to improve performance and reliability.

I've come across a few different posts here and on other sites with some great info and ideas but am having difficulty locating items. Also, I dont know exactly which items are better than others.

http://vfrworld.com/forums/1st-2nd-generation-1983-1989/28833-1st-gen-performance-upgrades.html this page is a great jumping off point I think but I cant find these items.

I've located this: K & N Performance Gold Oil Filter - DennisKirk.com and I'm assuming that it's the right filter for my bike.

Does anyone have any info or ideas where i can get the right stuff?

I'm not sure one can be better since one's an air filter and the other is an oil filter.
I'd go ahead and get the Honda oil filters. They're cheaper than that K&N and people still have a bunch of them since the Goldwing filters fit your bike too.

I have a K&N air filter on my 700 but I don't think it'll make a difference unless you go and change the exhaust and rejet the carbs as well.

Yeah, I realized my mistake just a moment ago.

I've got Oil filter and Air filter taken care of now, anyone know what else would be a good idea?

I would recommend the accel coils. But im they are price also for you bike you would need to run NON CDI coils and yes your bike does have a. Di ignition but there have been problems with running the cdi coils on these bikes example burned up spark boxes I've have had mine on my bike for nearly a year. Go to youtube and search my name as you see it here and I have a few videos on them on the bike.
