I fell in love with that bike when i first saw it and im trying to emulate the look. My bike already had that exhaust, seat, and already de-badged so it wasnt that far fetched.

The only thing im lacking right now is the 8 spoke wheel and the mirrors

    Thanks

5th Gen mirrors had the rubber condom sleeves in 1998 and 1999 while the 2000 and 2001 mirrors came without the sleeves. Basically you can buy OEM mirrors for a 2000/2001 model (aka Y2K mirrors) at around $75 each or you can buy aftermarket mirrors like mine from Emgo for around 1/2 the price of OEM ($36 each). See the thread below for more details and pics. As far as I know 6th Gen mirrors will NOT work without modification.

Hmmm.......hard to say for sure Bat,the pic is kinda small. The posse might be right, those might be just plain old stock 6th gen. mirrors.
Nice lookin' bike by the way.

In all fairness though gotta say it looks like the guy spent some $$$ on that bike, they could also be these.

Nope, those mirrors are from Thurn Motorsport in Germany Bat.

They're similar to the Emgo's but the shape of the mirror base is different and the mirror stalks are quite a bit thicker.

Another difference between these mirrors and the Emgo's is the Emgo's will run you about $72.00 a pair.

The mirrors from Thurn Motorsport will run you a cool $123.00 a pair + shipping from Germany. Which ain't cheap.

Like I said Bat it looks like the guy spent some $$$ on that bike, that's why I suggested they might be the Thurn Motorsport mirrors.

Upon further review I do believe Jesus and Mello Dude are correct Bat.

The price though is brutal. I just checked my local Honda dealer pricing,Holy Freakin' Smokes those mirrors are listed at $114.16 each! Ouch!!! :scared:

    Part 23 & 25.

Thanks, they look very similar to the emgo's. For the price i see why emgo's are the more popular choice

    Yeah,me too Bat.

Here I thought $123.00 + shipping was a bit exorbitant for a set of mirrors, but Holy S:censored:t Balls $228.00 and change for a lousy set of stock mirrors is highway robbery fer da cripes sakers!

yeah, you can prob blame the value of the usd for that. In the car market, ive seen prices on parts double, or even triple in some cases, in the past 4 -5 years on oem mitsu stuff
