so i have decided to polish the frame on the bike (gen 3) have about half of it done it sitting in my garage until i can get back to it in a few weeks to finish it off.. sadly the old girl has to take a back seat to work. so just if anyone else is considering doing it this is what i can come up looking like.

Started witha blue 3m scotch brute wheel on my die grinder to remove the deep scratches that produce the "brush" lookthen went over it with 2000 grit wet sand, removing scratches left by abrasive wheel. Followed the by using autosol metal polish on a buffing wheel mounted on my die grinder. Air tools or electric tools such a a dremal tool are definetly needed.
