    Hi everyone,
I have been reading a lot about the "viffer' and just getting to know the bike. i really haven't had time to ride much yet.

tonight i was just walking around the bike...checking things out...and i noticed a rubber hose sticking out the bottom of the left lower fairing (right in front of the center stand). when i touched it, i got some coolant (from what it seemed like..green liquid) on my hands...the hose i assume resides inside the lower left fairing along with two more hoses.

I just wanted to make sure that this is a normal thing and not something that will require attention.

There wasn't coolant leaking...it was a couple of drops on my finger...so i'm guessing like a return coolant hose or something?

thanks a lot for your responses.

It is the hose from the over flow bottle. It may be over filled and checking the radiator cap would not be a bad idea, just to make sure it is tight.

Probably the overflow from the coolant recovery tank. A few drops are normal, but it might be a good idea to check that the level of fluid is between the upper and lower lines.

Excess fluid from that line could be a result of over-heating, but if you're worried, you could check that coolant is up to the proper level under the radiator cap.

Read and study your owners manual.

Radiator cap?.....That's why you need to study the owners manual, Bunkie.

That and the location of fuse box are two things every owner needs to know !
