Hello! I'm new to your forum. My name's Raven and I live in San Diego. I've been riding vintage scooters for twenty years and motorcycles for two years. I have a nice vintage Honda, a modern Ducati Monster, and a beat-up vintage Vespa. There are photos on my web-pages listed in my signature, if you'd like to see them. Thanks for the welcomes! In order: Thanks for the kudos on the pics and the invitation up North. Be careful; I may take you up on it. I picked up the Monster back in October, and promptly put 1600 miles on it on a four-day solo trip to San Francisco. One day up, two days around the city, and one day back. ... and a whole day of sleeping when I got home, a visit to the ciropractor, and a full week of non-stop bragging. Where do you VFR-types meet in San Diego? Are there events? This may be a dumb question. If so, I apologize. I'm still exploring the forum. As for the weather, I have long-johns, gloves, glove liners, sock liners, ski mask, balaclava, hot packs, and I'm still shivering. Nertz. It's a good thing that my kvetching is muffled by my helmet!
