    i had big plans for it but really couldnt find parts i wanted im sellin my 1986 vf500 really nice bike all black this my first bike

    $1310 is Blue Book in excelent, low miles, condition. You got upgrades on it?

    no upgrades just new stuff like chain tire turn signals led head light

    i really dont wanna sell it because its great im sellin lookin for parts i wanted to make it look good as these others bikes out here

    Tinker is right, the 500 is a classic sportbike. I'd coinsider it a keeper.

    The only way you'll find someone who'll be as proud of that thing as you are is to find another first time rider with little knowledge of other bikes.

    Yeah Brother, I just sold my 97VFR, which had some really nice upgrades, for 2100.

    If I was interested I'd offer you 900 cash in hand.

    It's hard when you don't want to sell a bike you really enjoy. Trust me...I listened to that shotgun exhaust bark on the 97 as it disappeared down the road with its new owner on top. Damn near made a tear come to my eye.

    VFR's are not rare one off special bikes even though we like to think they are here on VFRW.

    Place a realistic price on your 500 or keep it.
