Just traded up yesterday from a Suzi TL1000S to the comfort of a VFR and pick it up Friday from the dealer. Its second hand, 2003 but with only 9,000 Km on the clock and in excellent nick, RED of course. Can't wait to take it out with the mates on the weekend and doing more than an hour ride befor getting shagged. The forum looks good, but early days. Looking forward to posting more experiences as they unfold. Cheers brothers.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys (and girls).
Picked her up Friday lunchtime, went for a spin and never made it back to work. It was just tooooo good. Clocked up nearly 1,000 km over the weekend, had to go round and show her off to everyone.
Still can't get over the transition into all valve mode !!! The noise, the rush, what a hoot !!!
Had a Q about temp, it seemed to vary from 85c to 105c does that sound about right for a 30c ambient temperature day?
    Cheers
