Hi, I'm Tony, I live in Buckinghamshire UK. I have just got a VFR750FL, and haven't been on bikes for a while... Any advice would be great - I do know not to crack the throttle open to hard yet!
Welcome aboard! People are going to want, and expect, pics of the bike!!! VFR750FL is an excellent bike and should take good care of you! Enjoy your new ride, and be sure to browse around here, there's TONS of great information to be found here. Cheers!!!
welcome to the world, cracking the throttle wide open is a rush and should be done in moderation... or not.... I hit 10.5K at least three times a day while riding but one needs to be careful these take off like a harrier jump jet..
I have a few mates who have had VFR750's and have been told they are quick.... .... BUT.... I'm in my late 40's and fresh back to bikes, so I'm in the high risk category.... Piccys will follow... Thanks for the warm welcome!
Oh no she don't! She's purdy just the way she is. That's a beautiful machine you've got there Tony. Congratulations and Welcome aboard. :welcome: My advice would be to ride her in the morning, ride her in the afternoon, and ride her at night. Just get her out there and RIDE!!! :whoo:
Welcome. So you plan to ride that thang or just wash and polish it. Wished mine was is as ggod shape as that one. Nice ride. Just came from the travel agent. I am on my way over there to the other side of the pond in Late July. Mostly to Scotland. WIfe doesn't know yet that we are going. Do you know Liz?
I aim you ride it, but also polish it! Randy, yours looks pretty good to me! Mine has a few rough edges, and shes has a small, but maybe common problem? Flat battery.... it seems its not charging properly.... regulator? Oh, BTW Liz lives about 10miles from me... I was going to pop over for tea, until the battery issue..... ;-)
