Battery bit the dust, replaced, and bike would not fire. I checked plugs for spark, have spark. Put plugs back in and bike fired up for about 20sec. Saw that I had a pinched hose from laying the tank back in place. Fixed this problem and bike will not fire. If I put gas directly in the intake it will fire but will not run.
    Thanks for any help!!!!

I wonder if you pinched off a piece of crud from the inside of your fuel lines when you pinched the lines. I really don't know. Just thinking out loud. And probably not to clearly at that. I have a leak in my tequila bottle right now and I am trying to prevent it from spilling all over the place.

He's got an '03 Tink. 6th gen. bikes have no fuel petcock.

Scuba does your bike have a Power Commander on it? If so did you reattach the negative wire from the Power Commander to the battery?

Thanks for all the ideas....got it running, It was the ground wire to the power commander. I had the battery out for 2 months and it fell down out of sight and I forgot it. What is weird though is the many times I turned the key off and on and having the seat off I saw the power commander lights cycle multiple times. So never thought about the ground wire. Prob the wire was touching the frame and had a good enough connection to cycle the computer but not to run.
Had to lift the tank to check the rear spark plugs. And no I am not related to Scubalong. Sound like a pretty cool though. Ya your right no fuel petcock on 03.
I guess on the bright side I got my injectors cleaned in the process......

Wasn't but a 1/2 gallon in at the time.
    1. Remove elec plugs
2 Vac hoses and plug ends.
    3. Rear mounting bolts.
    4. Pick up tank and spin 90 deg and down side of bike.
    5. Disconnect fuel line from rail.

Ya whats funny is I worked on it pretty much all day and was about to pack it up and take it to Honda. I knew it had to be something simple just wasn't seeing it. Then my neighbor came over who got me the battery said he wanted to hook up his tester and chec it out. After checking the bat and alt he sat back and said, this is just weird. Then put the tester on it a second time and saw the wire, touched it to the ground and bam. Love that sound. As long as I trouble shot, and threw the f bomb and wrenches across the shop I will never forget that wire again. LOL KICK MYSELF IN THE A@%!!!!!!
