buying my first bike and its a vfr (pic inside)

    91 vfr 750 it will be my 1st bike its got 32,000 miles on it only thing i can see that it needed was the front tire and it didnt have passenger pegs, the handles for the passenger, also no seat cowl..... bike is in great shape and runs good... he wants $1,500 for it i got him down to $1,400 am i getting a good deal?? and where could i find some passenger pegs and the handles?

    looks good... I would say jump. look at the fairings carefully, its not a stock color... make sure they aren't damaged.....and repaired

    if you think it's worth it and he thinks it's worth it, $1400 is a fair price for a decent looking working bike of any type, but especially a VFR even if it is repainted as long as it looks decent and runs decent. It's gonna need odds and ends, but so will any used bike.

    I may have some extra passenger pegs but there is a chance I sold them last year and just don't remember. I'll check the parts graveyard (my garage) tomorrow and let you know.
