Just wish they would have it in the summer so I could go for a ride while all those people aren't clogging up the roads.

The adulation devoted to players and teams --celebrities in general--is absolutely ridiculous, seems like people have no actual life of their own and need to live vicariously through the exploits of over-paid, under-educated athletes. It's all about money, fans, and you are the suckers.

Squirrelman will be participating in a VFRW chat room rant 2morrow about the excessive importance of sports in the USA and how it undermines the progress of society.

Sports is the methamphetemine of the people !

 

SQ. Did you say excessive impotence in sports? Maybe because of their straps being too tight or abundant use of steroids LOL. And I thought you always painted your toenails pink. Or have you gotten away from that lately.

OOOOOOOOOkay... Anyway, those true American's :usa2: will be watching the Superbowl tomorrow instead of trying to block the microwave emissions from the cel phone (mind control) tower they just installed next door to your house. It should be a great game between 2 powerhouse teams. Event if you're not into watching the whole season, at least its more exciting that the NBA during the regular season. Thats the one sport you only watch at the finals when it actually means something and skipping that series really doesn't matter. As for the winner; Roger's has been great all year so it will be a close win for the Packers.

 

I've been a Steelers fan since 2nd grade. I'll be watching. The only other TV sport that I watch religiously is Supercross / Motocross which you can usually catch on the Speed channel.

I suppose it can't be all bad, after all, football requires one to wear funny clothes and a helmet.
