    I love motorcycles and live in a great place to ride year round. I currently have a 2007 Yamaha FZ1 and plan to sell it to buy a VFR. Looking for a Gen 6. Please let me know if anyone one would like to sell a low mileage one.

    Good luck, Peter10. I hope you checked Craig's list in your area and across state boundaries. That is where I found mine. Also, I hope you have checked the classified section on here and on VFRDiscussion. BTW check with CluibMyke on here. He is in AZ as well and just got a 6th gen.

    +1 to what wrestler said. I have bought my last 6 or 7 bikes from craigslist. Didn't even know what I wanted on most of them until I found them them. It's like a continuous yard sale that changes daily. I'm leery of major purchases from eBay, but it is a resource also. A VFR is a great bike and pretty dependable so don't count out buying one from a long way off and flying to get it and riding it home to get to know it. I always offer the service to members to go and check out bikes in my area if they want to fly in and buy one close to me. I'd even give you a couch to sleep on and help with route planning and prob ride a portion of the trip with you. It's pretty hard to talk me into going for a ride huh guys?

    Thanks to all!

    I see one all white 2006 VFR with low miles close by on my local Craigslist. Price is a little high but who knows. I do need to get my current 2007 Yamaha FZ1 sold first. The wife will have me sleeping in the garage if I don't.

    I have been using eBay since 1998 and have only been burned twice, but I get nervous about buying large ticket items from there. I want to have eyes on a bike, even if they are not mine. I also don't like the auction format when I'm buying a vehicle. I want to negotiate a fair price not bid against yokels. ;)
