After almost a year in the shop and another two in pieces my Vf500 is coming home. The pic is older , i hope to take more when i get it back in the garage where it belongs, at least till spring. there is still a few little odds and ends to tie up like battery, rear tire, and new helmet  !!!! this forum has been an invaluable tool at getting my rig back on the road, and keeping me entertained when i cant work on the bike.

Outstanding! And the good news is that all this #&*@!! snow in Connecticut should melt in time for us to get out and enjoy riding by Labor Day!

i Know i have 8 foot snow piles at either side of my drive way. today they sent excavators in my neighborhood to make our roads wider. Our two lanes were down to barely one!

Can't wait to see the pics

Can't wait to see the pics Callahan!!

My project is on hold for right now...)+:

(Something about me "rescuing" the bike from my brother's shed after he left it there while he and my sister walked away from their house and him threatening to call the cops on whomever took it)..

Anyway....I can't wait to resume work!!

Just wondering..where did you have the work done and about how much to have the carbs done?

    Thanks....Sean

    Valley Motorsports FTW!

sean, i brought it to valley motorsports in ansonia, ct, talk to art. their number is 203 736 0379. they were the cheapest by a long shot. i wanna say it was between 250 -300 not quite sure had those done with a shit load of other work all in all i spent 750. well worth it i dropped off a dead bike now i have a runner and she sounds so sweet! not only where their prices the best around the services was top and they were always up front and honest with everything. i actually just hd a question and he walked me through it over the phone so i didnt have to bring the part in. awesome place cant say enough good things about them
