:canada::wave:Hey all, new guy here. Joined recently after buying a 1984 baby ceptor. Actually haven't taken possession yet as my bro-in-law picked it up for me and he lives in Ontario while I'm 2800kms away in Newfoundland! In the meantime I do have 3 more bikes to keep me company.

While new to this forum, I'm not new to the Honda V4...I have a 1985 V30 Magna and used to have a V65. Would love to have one of each: V30, V45, another V65 and 500, 750 and 1000 Interceptors. Hey a guy needs a dream. Love all bikes but especially the old 80s.

The baby ceptor is in nice condition with 17,000 kms.

    Cheers :drinker:
    Lee

Welcome for sure. We are going to have to start up a Canadian Batallion here soon. Out west here in the Fraser Valley we can ride almost year round. Matter of fact, in 06-07 I did ride year round except for about 2 weeks in total. I guess it is a bit less than desireable to do so in Newfoundland in the winter. Not that it is anything like Winterpeg, Manitscolditoldya.

Some day I may just bless the east coast, including Newfoundland with my presence. I am drawn to the ruggedness of your coast.

Thanks guys and and welcome Frankus.

Randy we do live in a beautiful country, I've been as far as Alberta and definitely will see the west coast, just not sure when. Newfoundland is rugged and gorgeous...sometimes people don't appreciate the beauty of the area they live in...thankfully I've never had that problem.

I would love to ride all year but there's just far too much sand and salt on our roads in winter. Just gotta make up for it when the roads are clear.

If you or any members are planning to ride 'The Rock' let me know, may be able to provide some accommodations and get to show you some of the sights.

Just don't make plans like my good friends from Ontario...I worked there for a few years and made a couple good friends/riding buddies. Told them about Newfoundland and showed them some pics. They said a couple times they had ridden as far as Nova Scotia and always wanted to take an extra day and see Newfoundland.

I said, an extra DAY to see 'The Rock'? You wouldn't see all of it if you allowed an extra week. But it looks so small on the map, they said. It's really a lot bigger than most people think. And I'm just talking about riding the island portion, there's also Labrador.
