Hi there! My name is Lindsey and I am currently a student in Burlington, VT. I don't actually own a Honda, but I did learn to ride on an '84 Sabre 750, and watched my boyfriend rebuild an '85 VF500F in the middle of our living room. I bought a motorcycle at the end of this past summer, but due to a rugby injury I have yet to do any real solo riding. He's a 1985 Kawasaki Gpz750 (very similar in paint scheme to the 85 VF's) and I can't wait to get to work this spring to make him run like a top. I used to be a part of a KawiForum, but the activity and help there is few and far between. Since this forum is so active and helpful I thought this might be a better fit as I embark on some of my first repairs and maintenance activities.
Good to see a lady on board. There's been a hell of a lot of testosterone around here lately with all of the winter induced riding stopages. Not a ton of Kawi owners on this forum, but some very good mechanical types nonetheless. The boys around here are desperately happy to help the fairer. Welcome, and heal soon.
welcome to the madness. you will have to join us for a ride sometime and show us the good roads around there.
Thanks! I'm just about recovered so I'm looking forward to learning how to ride my own bike this spring! Here is another picture of my bike:
There are no 'good' roads in VT. Just a lot of pot holes. But some decent 55 mph roads through farm land. :]
Nice, should be a fun bike. Keep the gear on, the rubber side down, and have a blast with the learning experience.
Hey man, welcome. WHOA, your not a man. And thats not a vfr. What's going on here? Are you a spy? Some kind of undercover hottie, licensed to thrill and spice up our forums? Well in that case, WELCOME!
