Even if I dare, there is no way to bring the bike in. I live on a 13th floor. Service elevator is too small. ;-)

Any other time of the year this would be an easy one.... We got snow dumped on us again. Bikes are gonna stay down in the shop this weekend.

Could we perhaps get some more structured guidelines formulated in order to get a bit more order here. For sure this thread has taken off big time so why not get some "rules" put down and see where it goes?

so here are the basic "rules" there were a few changes, during the winter months the originator of the challenge can extend the time limit, if someone is actually trying to do the challenge... but no more than two days... so that should allow you to have a weekend in there..
and if there has been ten challenges met. then we can recycle some of the older challenges.. pretty sure that thats in the middle of the thread somewhere.....

Any wau happy hunting.... and the only one that can declare the winner is the challenge poster.
I can say winner but its up to lets say Racostan (if its his challenge) to declare the winner...

When Cundalini started the thread it was all about simplicity, not a whole lot of rules and stuff, it was meant to get folks out on their bikes.....so I don't think that there needs to be any more rules.... it would have to be up to Cundalini to change the rules...It's his thread.....

I understand and agree. Thanks for putting it all together, missed the middle of the thread stuff, not always able to log on during the week so miss some stuff.

Hope this get some more guys involved and clear on the mission parameters!

took a little zoom zoom up SR154 today sun was shiny, temperature was good...

rode over by lake Cachuma, a rest stop area, and up to the painted cave.....and of course, a trip up the 154 would not be complete without a stop at the (in) famous Cold Springs Tavern....It was closed but normally it is crawling with Harley's and on weekends they have a live band that plays during the day outside just about where that picnic table is behind the bike, the food is really good too....

a while back people used to be able to go in the cave , but since folks decided to vandalize it...this is what happens... inside the cave is a few drawings made by the Chusmash( pronounced shoo mash) dating back to the mid to late 1600's its pretty cool

this is what they look like ..no flash on the cell phone, regular camera charger still AWOL...

In the middle of the frame is Lake Cachuma this is a view from the rest area/vista point..

these two guys on an ST and a Victory rode up to the vista point on their lunch hour to eat lunch how freakin cool is that...


any way there are other pictures but they are of the same stuff...
