I'm 24 & getting the 4th gen VFR tomorrow. I've been watching the bike market locally for ages & all the 5th, 6th gen VRF's are crazy expensive. The 4th gen was perfectly priced for me. :)

    I'm 28 and ride a 6th gen

Was looking for something different when I bought her used in 09 but after the test ride
I was in love and spend about double of what I wanted to in the first place.
When ever I start the motor and go for a ride that in love feel comes back.

I got my first VFR (a 2000 model) when I was 20. I rode it for a year and sold it.

I was 28 when I bought my VFR1200 which has got to make me the youngest 1200 owner anywhere.

So is it because the older bikes are cheap that's why we young fellas buy them?

I have had a 86 700 that i sold to my brother in law(which he wrecked the first day he got it) and I know have a 99 5th gen that I ride almost everyday of the year and I'm 30.
One of my buddies had a 6th gen and I liked it alot but have to admit that a perfer my 5th gen i love the sound of those cams even though i like the underseat exhaust on the 6th gen a lot better.

    28 - 6th Gen, bought it when I was 26.

First 'big' bike after my learner bike (250). I wanted something that I could do 500km+ trips easily and looked good. Plus I loved that V4 sound!

+1. I'm 32 bought my '06 in December '06. Had a 2nd gen '86 before that and bought it in '96. Poor bike, I beat that thing worse than a dirt bike. Just ask TC or if you catch some recent pics of Crustys bike, those were my old fairings...
