Boy Howdy! to all, just want to introduce my self to this forum. I have been perusing this site for a while now and looks like a bunch of good guys here. Just bought a 1983 Honda Interceptor to work on. I have two Harley's to ride when I get tired of working on the Honda. Why would a Harley Boy want a Honda? Here's why. My first love was a 1953 Cushman Eagle that I pushed 3 miles to get it home. My second love was a 1970 Honda CB-350 that had been sitting under a pine tree for 3 years. I did not push this one home though, I had a truck to haul it home. Anyhow looking forward to being active on the forum.
Welcome aboard Some may try to discourage you from spending time on the old girl But, if you like carb tear downs, have at it! Got any pics to share?
Welcome to the site. In honour of you joining our ranks, this Saturday I will fly to your state for my very first time. Loosing my Floridian Virginity you might say. We welcome all. Seems right now, your state is the only state/province in Canada/USA that has no snow on the ground.
Welcome aboard fellow Floridian. Naysayers do have their place, pick and choose what you wana absorb. New is new and old is fun, this only pertains to bikes and cars not women. What kinda Intershlepter do you have? PICS please! Cheers, btw I had a nice ride today, around mid 60s which is a little cold but compared to the rest of the poor sods here, we are in paradise.
Randy, we have no snow here in San Diego only sun shine and beach.........oh boobies too Welcom to the nuts house..........Ride safe
Thanks for the warm welcome! As far as working on the bike, I have plenty of time in that I just retired a couple of years ago. I needed a project to keep me out of trouble. I'm sure this bike will keep me occupied for a long time. I will upload some pics as soon as I get them resized for this website. Thanks again, for the warm welcome.
Another one of those "retired" folk. I tried that once. Lasted three days. I might retire again if I get another job I have applied for today. Problem with retirement is that you usually have to take some damned pension and I hate that! I can't afford to retire. I spend too much money now in the little time off I have. Couldn't imagine how much it would cost for me to stay away from work full time. Again, welcome but post pix soon Sunshine. Do Snowbirds get on your nerves too?
