hey guys just had a 3 day ride thru great alpine hwy thru some awesome roads thru the snowy mountains in victoria australia went really well except for our lunch break parked the bike lost my balance and dropped it on the left hand side and damaged fairing,question wanted to ask have found brand new fairings for sale on ebay thru a seller in hong kong who are called heymanspeedmotor wanted to know if anybody had purchased thru this seller before and if they know what the quality of their products are like thought it would possibly be a cheaper way of fixing my bike. if anyone can help would be great before i put a bid on it. thanks.
beware of some of the fairings that come out of that area...a few folks have bought them and had no problems ,,and some have had problems...I guess what I am saying is its a crap shoot... he has a 99.9 % feedback... unfortunately his feed back isn't just for fairings it for it all... but if you buy now you will get a free windscreen.... good luck mate
I also am in the market for a decent set of fairings, matter of fact just yesterday I was on ebay and spotted the same seller. Some of the negative reviews say the paint colors don't match the factory color, but I only saw that from maybe 2 reviews. I'll probably end up ordering a set by spring just so I can keep my stock fairings in good shape until I really learn my way around the bike; I'd hate to drop it once and ruin my factory fairings. If you end up ordering, definitely let me know the overall quality of them. An interesting side-note, this appears to be one of the few ebay sellers that includes a tank cover with matching paint scheme.
