gear near Richmond

I need a new cold/wet weather jacket. Can anybody recommend a good shop for me to find one near Charlottesville, Richmond, waynesboro or annapolis? Preferably Charlotteville. Im looking for Firstgear, Alpinestar, or Tourmaster and not having much luck.

Look for a better price tho. I have this and it is great in cold weather. I think this has been replaced by he Joe Rocket Balistic 8.0

All the cycle shops are going to have summer gear in stock. It would be hard to find winter gear when your just right around the corner from spring. You buy winter items in the fall and summer items during the winter.

Your best bet is to purchase online and if you dont like it, then return and repeat.

Damn, but I miss good riding weather...

 

Happy winter everyone! Hopefully some of you were able to get this weekend and knock out some cobwebs.

Jay and I joined TPM this weekend at the IMS (saved 10%). Looks like they have the most dates at some of the best local tracks. Since they are one of the larger organizations they have decided to run 4 groups on the busier days.

 

I might be riding the BRP this summer and was wondering if anyone has stayed here? Willville Motorcycle Campground

Do they have nice facilities?

Nice views from camp?

and most importantly beer on tap?

 

Willville is a tent campground. They do have a bath house, a pavilion for meals, meetings, etc. It is not a resort like Iron Horse in Robbinsville, but it is a good little place to stay, nice surroundings and you do meet a few good folks there. Don't know about the beer, don't think so...

 

According to their website, they have cabins now too...

 

I forgot about breakfast. The night before he takes orders for breakfast biscuits and has them waiting for you at office. I do not know if they make them or he gets them at the local country store. It was a good 'homey' place. Just looked at the site, the cabins are new.

 

Thanks, I'm only going to have a limited time in VA. can you list some good roads in that area (other than BRP)?
