    Hi fellow riders,
I'm new here and have been looking online for a touring windscreen for my 07 but only found one from Givi. There has to be more than one to choose from and does anybody have photos of theirs from the side so I can compair to stock?

Also would like the Hili bars but can't find them for less that $200.00 Any help would be great.

I tried the Givi screen and didn't like it. Adds too much wind noise for my liking and body proportions. I'm just shy of 6', 32" inseam. My bike is a 08 VFR800. I switched back to the stock screen and have no complaints. It's way quieter around my helmet than the V-Strom used to be. I might try heli-bars some day or I might just enjoy her the way she is and when I have enough money (many years from now), buy a touring bike. My last bike was a 08 V-Strom. Perfectly fine bike, but I got sucked in to all the farkle BS and probably spent enough money for a really good trip. A trip which I didn't take because I spent all my money on windscreen, risers, seat, grips, lights, etc. Now I have the VFR to which I am trying to adapt instead of making it adapt to me. So far, it's been great. All the aches and pains go away eventually. The only pain now is a longing in my heart as I wait for winter to pass. My bike is like one of my sleeping children (the favourite one) under it's cover in the garage. You probably have good reason (and cash) to customize your bike. If so, please disregard my tale of woe.

Well thanks for the input. I have done a lot of reading and think I may end up with the Vari somthing which has an adjustable flip up. It don't look to bad. I'll just take it out of my beer money.

    Hi BB,
What are the LSL's? Higher, lower? Anyway, $200.00 for Hili bars is the going rate on the web. Would you take $125.00?

I'd probably take $150 for them... Unfortunately though it might be a little longer before I get my new set-up since I unexpectedly had to shell out for a new chain and sprocket today. I will check back with you when I swap over and see if you are still interested.
