    Hi my name is john from australia,need to stiffen front shockers find them too soft I weigh approx 110 kgs so bit of a heavyweight,am finding under hard breaking frontend way too soft, sorry almost forgot I ride 2002 vfr800 vtec, any ideas out there. thanks.

    The front ends are a bit on the limp side for fat bastards like us. Race Tech list's a spring for for almost you exact weight, p/n FSRP S3732120 for 1.2kg . I would start with that.

    Toe's suggestion will fix the problem longterm. In the meantime I would stiffen the preload adjustments, both front and rear, to near full stiff, if not all the way full. At your weight it's still not going to be as ideal as replacing the suspension, but it will be better. You'll probably want to stiffen the rebound as well.

    Yeah, I imagine that you ARE having problems! The fronts are just as bad as the rear on the 800's, and springs are a good place to start. Once that's done I think you find that the damping is where your big improvents will be made. That's more work and money, of course.
