    Cut down windscreen

I road all last year with a Puig double bub, stock height windscreen. It seemed to lower wind noise a little for me at 5" 8" but when I would raise up a little more over the screen it would get quieter. I have been wanting to try a cut down version of something to see if I can get it even better. I ordered an infamous Hong Kong shield for $27 bones and did just that. Hung a string and used painters tape over it to creat an edge. Just dremeled that sucker off. I just wish i could give a ride report but ....here are some pics.

I pretty much did the same thing. I had an old Zero Gravity DB that I didn't like so I Dremeled it the same way and voila. Didn't seem to change the wind much over stock for me but I like it better than the larger DB which seemed to buffet quite a bit. Good job on yours.

Post a ride report when you can. I've gone from 16" to 18" back to stock 14" and have not found a great answer for the buffeting I get. As you, I can raise up and find relief. Since I am used to a bike with no wind screen, I figure cutting one down is the answer.

Thinking about doing the same. Where can I find one of those $27 screens?
