Hate to sound like I'm beating a dead horse here, but with having all those technical difficulties and not being able to upload it... well, honestly I just gave up and said screw it. Had a lot going on in school and was doing lots of studying and all... which paid off with A's in every module so far in HonTech.

I'm now in Honda 24 (last segment of training) and it's much more relaxed. I'm already halfway through the projects and still have 2 more weeks of this rotation.

That said, I'm gonna try once again to do the video - different format this time - and see if I can't get it up for you guys this weekend. I've got some busy stuff planned, so it may take till Sunday night to get it up... but I'm gonna do it, dammit!

I know you all are anxious to see what the fuss is about, and let me tell ya, it's awesomeness at it's core! I visited the online store via HonTech's portal on the inNetwork and got to see quite a bit of the specs on the fully decked out version of the 1200. With a sticker price near $18,500 without any cruising accessories... all I can say is "Wow!" cause the only thing she don't have is a button to throw her in reverse and A/C.

Long anticipated, long overdue and finally arrived...

I'm sorry for the video quality, I didn't watch em before I uploaded. The main thing was to get the info out to you guys, so the fact that it's a bit blurry shouldn't matter much.

I'll probably attempt a cleaner cut in the near future, just cause I'm a perfectionist. As luck would have it, my account with YouTube was just upgraded to allow videos more than 15 mins long. Had I known that I would have just simply did a single recording. Oh well, its here at least.

Now, the videos are unlisted and viewable ONLY from this link on this thread. I want to keep it that way, so please do not copy and paste this all over the net. The intention here is to help those in the forum that actually OWN one of these beasts or are planning on ever working on one in the near future so that they get an idea of the massive amounts of changes made to the VFR line and don't accidentally screw something up.

Point number one... Cylinder #1 is no longer at the left rear position. Yeah, imagine that.

So, here ya go.... Video #1:

    And Video #2:

Hope you get as much out of them as I did. Lots of useful info. Definately going to order a manual for them. Between them and the Goldwings.... they're definately gonna keep me on my toes!

Wow, I don't own one but will enjoy this video at home sometime.
Hey, a suggestion - DUMP Limewire!! That software has hosed up SO many people! Me included.

Great information, lots more re-engineering went into this bike than I thought. Some I think is good, some I think is crap, some I think is overcomplicated and cool all at the same time. In any case, thanks a bunch for getting this video up for us, I allways like getting an inside look from the manufacturer. Gives a better idea of what they were thinking/trying to accomplish with new stuff. Hope your studies are doing well!!

Glad you enjoyed the video. Took much longer to get it up than I anticipated, but I got a new computer out of the deal! LOL

As for Limewire... I kicked the P2P habit to the curb. There's better ways to get files and info without the risk.

Just found this thread. Thanks for the videos, it was very informative. ...I'm really not looking forward to my first valve service; I think it's going to take me a full day to do it right! lol

That said, this confirms my feelings with the 4th & 5th gen VFRs I've owned; valve service is the PERFECT time to pull the forks and radiator to flush and refill them, as it needs doing (but often goes overlooked) and makes the valve service SO much easier!!!

    Thanks again!

Another interesting vid on assembly. Sorry if it's a repost but I don't recall seeing it before. Thought it fit Lazy's "inside Look"

Anyone hear if the PCM has a brake override of the throttle by wire? ya know, the whole Toyota recall scenario of runaway cars last year.....
