Park cars in the garage? Hmmmm. Never occured to me. Is that the intended purpose? If so, where do I put all the other stuff that's in tha garage to make room for the cars?

The garage is the "man cave" shoulda been all yours to begin with!!! At least you are improving the garage AND getting it to yourself instead of building her a new kitchen or bathroom or some other nonsense, good job buddy :vtr2:

Winter Storage involves pulling the bags off the Concours and centering it in between the cars. The Connie doesn't quite fit without pulling the plastics off. Plus I still ride it when the temps hover around 30+.

The rest of the "fleet" goes in the basement (a "walk-in" basement was a requirement when we had the house built).

Summertime has the Mazda6 outside... (The Magna got replaced with the VFR this summer. The Vulcan is "hers".)

Nice workshop and stable Tusk! Looks like it has lots of good places to hide those bottles of Scotch from the old lady LOL !! My next house will have a big basement in it but unfortunately I don't see it happening in the next 10 years. By then I'll be eating bran cereal every morning and riding a Goldwing!

I used to see lots of basements with foil wrapped on the windows in my previous life. They used to have an assortment of lights, watering systems and vegitation abound. About the only thing "parked" in my garage is my bike. No room for anything else cause it is also full of woodworking toys. If I had a Ford or Dodge, I would probably park them in the garage instead of the bike cause they would need the care and the bike would stand up to the weather outside. But I drive a GMC. It is all growd up and can handle the elements.

My car sits outside only because the Camaro I bought as my first car at 16 sits inside. Don't get too excited, it's a rusted heap with a dream of being fixed up one day. I have a separate building for my bikes, luckily.

You can never have too much room, that is for sure. I think next time I'll buy a house with an attached workshop or one in the basement. These winters suck.....

Well, looks like I have a lucky situation. My house is 1 1/2 story with a full walk out basement, two car garage up. We keep both of our cars in it + my lawn tractor, and our trash bin & recycling. Downstairs I have another, extra deep single car garage where I have a large L shaped work bench, all my tools, my "finish" mower, my 3 (reduced from 5) bikes. Thats my mancave, and has a huge (as they all were) stereo, flat screen TV, and a beverage refer just outside the door from the basement. I hope to never go back to parking the cars outside. Here in Northwestern MO, we get everykind of weather that (with the exception of hurricanes) you can get. Lots of storage because we are empty nesters and have 3000 sq ft.

I park my car and bike side by side in a one car garage, it is tight but manageable. The only pain is when I want to ride, need to move the car out.

I'm single so MY Tacoma and MY VFR both fit in MY garage, along with MY tools and MY dive gear and MY camping gear... Randy lives next door to me. Since I can ride all 4 seasons, I have no reason to worry about storing the bike anywhere. I just ride the bike everywhere every day and leave the truck in the garage, unless I need to carry more than a couple grocery bags or haul something.

I was thinking same thing. Like where do you dive? That is another one of those things that I had always wished I had done but never took the time to learn. Same with flying. Cept on scotch. Used to fly onthat from time to time. Guess it is never to late to learn.
