question about vfr rims

    i have a 1994 vfr and damaged my front rim , heres the question i recently purchased on ebay a brand new rim , but its a 1998 rim , will it fit my 1994 ? they look identical . but the part#s are diffrent. I would appreciate some educated input on this . if the rim I bought isnt for my bike it will be for sale. its brand new still in the box. if anyon eis interested, also i have a right side mid fairng and a left side upper half .

    You probably already have the answer to this, but I'm 95% sure the front rims are inter-changable. The diameter/tire size is the same. The only issue might be axle diameter. Mounting the brake rotors shouldn't be an issue. I believe Hondauses the same boltpattern/spacing for all their front rims, just different rotor size. It's the rear rims that aren't w/o modification.
