    Good day all ..
Snowy and cold up here in Canada so I ripped apart my 04 VFr for a good cleaning

While cleaning the chain I had the Clutch Slave Cylinder pop out - So I took the time to clean it - etc new gaskets - etc.. I spent the better part of the day trying to bleed the bugger...

I even went out and bought a vac pump... got all the air out of it - no more bubbles the clutch feels good - however if i put it in gear and then pull the clutch and try and turn the rear wheel by hand - I cant... I have rebled this thing 20x's and still no go....

Any ideas what I did?? super frustrated...

in every bike I've ever had, it wasn't uncommon for their to be some drag on the clutch. There is a lot of surface area among all those clutch disks.

if my bike has been sitting for a while, then I go to pull in the clutch and try to roll it across the garage, I normally have to rock it a time or two before the clutch disks will let go.

maybe give that a shot? Sit on the bike, pull in the clutch, rock back and forth and see if she breaks loose. Once the discs let go of each other, it should roll easy from there.

Because the rear wheel will not easily turn when the clutch lever is pulled in, does not mean there is a problem.

Engine has to be running to find out about proper operation.
