    Hi Guys

I have a VF400 NC30. Been running pretty smooth so far. I have had it for 2 months now, about 20 000km on the clock. Lately I have noticed a small problem. I usually cruise on the highway at 140km/h. It runs smooth up to about 155km/h. The problem starts at about 160km/h. As soon as I try cruising at that speed it starts to jerk slightly. Almost as if Im lifting off slightly then full throttle again. This issue only happens round about 160km/h. It runs smoothly again at 170km/h.

Has any1 ever experienced something like this and can any1 offer any ideas/solutions??

    Thanks

I had a Ninja 250 that did that a while ago. It would stutter at 45 to 50 MPH and be fine at any other speed. I was told to clean the carbs and put in a jet kit. I ended up selling the bike but the guy that bought it, had the carbs cleaned and put the kit in and he says it's running beautifully. Just a idea.

I had similar problems with my old EX500. In my case it was about 7000rpm. Cleaned the carbs and it ran like a rocket.

Check the air filter; clean & sync the carbs
