The is an 86 vfr 750 at a local bike wreckers that has a front fork brace in good shape.
    They want $70 for it.
    Is it worth it?
    Will I notice a difference?

I am still learning/working on the VFR in my stable, so am not sure if it needs a brace or not. Do you ride track? $70 used seems abit steep for price. Looking forward to info from the VFR guru's in here.

The only experience I have with aftermarket fork braces is on an '00 SV650, but I do notice a difference in really bumpy corners; it feels more stable. Just FWIW.

They help I'm told. I put one on my 86, don't know if I'm smart enough to tell the difference but I like knowing its there to help make the front end stronger/stiffer. Our fork legs are pretty small compared to modern bikes and could use all the help we can give them.

That's alot of cash--even in Canadian money-- but i have a Telefix fork brace on one of my '86VFRs, and it does make a difference. Must be installed properly or forks might bind.

you should try to haggle it down as there aren't many likely buyers in your area........except Slowbird maybe.

I had a STD fork brace on my nighthawks it made a difference. Try and get it for 50 bux Americano moo-lah. Some front fenders have a metal reinforcement inside that sort of serves as added rigitity. Telefix is an old time company, not many of those things floating around I am sure.
