Nah, just a simple 500 gig sata drive(raid is for morons who don't know how to back their crap up). That little tidbit was cute though.

The post was made to let people know that if they have actual computer problems and want to save a couple bucks, I'd be happy to help.

Has nothing to do with my knowledge level, how much more I know then everyone else, or any bull like that. You guys are the retarded individuals believing I have some sort of twisted superiority complex. Or are you projecting your own problems onto me?

I would love for you to quote me saying anywhere how much "better" I am then everyone else. All you will find is a guy being nice enough to want to contribute in a way he can be helpful.

RAID is for morons?..You better tell HP, dell, and every company that builds enterprise level servers for organizations like GOOGLE, DOD, etc. who were building servers while you were still "making friends" with the lingerie section of the Sears catalog and playing with your ahem "joystick" on your 286.

Since you clearly don't have the capacity to grasp that maybe, just maybe, the RAID comment was towards people who use RAID for home use(since you assumed that I, a home user would use RAID), i would suggest you quit while you're behind.

Glad to hear yet another PC pain in the ass (its a park of pride I also wear) has joined the ranks of VFRworld.

I see you have met BB, hes our "mascot" of sorts, its sisyphean to debate anything with him, so dont take it to hart, hes just bored.

The general harrasment wont stop, but its all in fun.

Most of us on here are professionals (read business and trade professionals) and with that we have lots to offer and learn from eachother. Just dont get stuck in one end of the conversations as they tend to be irrelivent.

Ive noticed especially lately that it seems everyone in the world can get you or can build you whatever computer you want and do it cheaper. I have an old friend that runs his own computer store, he's a great fellow, and he remarks on this everytime I see him. "Its getting to be like barbeque or pizza joints now, everyone either says they do it better than everyone else and cheaper, or they call everyone else that does it an idiot"

Many of the people on here are such gadgetheads that they either know a shitload about computers, or have someone in their circle that does. Two guys I work with hold themselves out to everyone as super ace computer builder wizards, and make fun of anyone not as savvy as they. These two are also the same two that got caught gaming using the company's T1 connection, which interrupted the main frame's process data acquisition program that runs 24/7 in the background, and were caught when the company just sat and waited for them to log on, after the company was wondering "Hey, why is it our PI system keeps going down at the same time every day?"

They no doubt enjoyed their suspensions from work by gaming their asses off from home, and were lucky they werent fired, but theyre WAAAAY smarter than you, just ask them.

Before you get your panties in a wad, none of this is directed at you necessarily, but it may help just a bit in explaining why your obvious nice guy attempts to help people has met a bit of a negative response.

I can whip something up for BB that no doubt will inspire a zen-like response, just dont get it in your eye.
